My main purpose for making this blog was to have a way to share with people i don't see very often or don't get a chance to talk to very often about what is going on in my life and what i have been learning while i am at New Tribes. It is almost the end of my second semester! It has gone by so fast yet at the same time i feel like it all just started.
I was given the opportunity to be an R.A. this semester, which has been just one area that God has been faithfully teaching me through. I have five amazing girls in my dorm that have been an encouragement to me as i continually see my inadequacies as a leader in the dorm.

Bridgette , Kirsty , Bethany, Me, Elise, and Jay
There are only three weeks left of school before everyone heads back to their homes for Christmas break. we are all tired and ready for some sleep, but we have one more block with some awesome classes starting tomorrow. Today in chapel I was reminded to not be focusing on what's coming up but live here and now and enjoy where God has me. While I am looking forward to a break, i am also excited to see what God has to teach me through these next few weeks. tomorrow we start two new classes: Bible Basis for Missions and 1st Corinthians.
Besides busy life at school, i am also working about 16 hours at an office in downtown Jackson. I am so thankful for their flexibility with my schedule and they approved me to work full time over Christmas break! so once again i will be living at school over break and working. this time though i will have family here as well :) Erin and Tim are attending New Tribes this year so they live only one floor down from me :) it's such a blessing to have them here and be able to see my 3 nieces every day. they had a third daughter three weeks ago and named her Octavia Marie.

These are just a few things going on in my life right now. Thank you for you prayers!
